Podcasting?
I know we have discussed podcasting in class, but I was playing around on a website today and read something more about a person who podcasts. It was then that I remembered my ipod has podcasting abilities and while I know it has to do with being able to watch video clips on my ipod I don’t actually know how to use it. It’s kind of an off topic post, but can anyone tell me a little more about podcasting?

Your iPod can catch podcasts and with a mike could record a show to be podcast. But more often, your iPod is a player. iTunes offers a simple way to find some podcasts, subscribe to them and download them to your pod. The Apple site has more specific info.

Finally, on January 7th UNC and ibiblio will host Podcastercon, it should address all levels of podcasting. Check out the site.

BTW podcast has been declared Word of the Year by the New Oxford American Dictionary.
