  1. Mr. Sugar is an excellent organizer–and a JOMC grad. I learned a lot from attending his meet-ups this past spring. I highly recommend the meet-ups to everyone in the class as a great way to meet interesting people who are on the “cutting edge”.

  2. I made it to part of the meeting. Everyone introduced themselves. It was the first meeting back from the summer, so it was relatively laid back as people were just getting back into the swing of things. Everyone introduced themselves and what they were working on related to blogging. We actually talked more about Flicker (photo sharing) and Lulu (print on demand). A recent SILS grad. is working at Lulu and Mr. Suger recently published a book using the service. He is of course using his blog to help publicize the book. I find this combination to be particarly demonstrative of the democratizing effects of technology on publishing.
